Liderazgo que Inspira: Damarys Rangel y Jesús de Macedo son Becados por UCF y el Condado de Orange por su Compromiso con la Comunidad

Hoy celebramos con orgullo que Damarys Rangel, Presidenta de DDHHUNIVERSAL, y Jesús de Macedo, Director del Voluntariado, han sido seleccionados y becados por el Center for Public and Nonprofit Management (CPNM) de la Universidad de Florida Central (UCF) y el Condado de Orange, para participar en uno de los programas más destacados de capacitación en EE.UU.: el Curso de Gestión Financiera para Organizaciones Sin Fines de Lucro.

Ser seleccionados para una beca como esta en Estados Unidos es un logro que valoramos con gratitud, pues representa no solo excelencia académica, sino también el reconocimiento a nuestro liderazgo comunitario, la ética de trabajo y la resiliencia en la gestión de causas sociales.

Un logro que nos inspira

Para Damarys Rangel, mujer migrante, defensora de derechos humanos y Fundadora y Miembro de la Junta Directiva de DDHHUNIVERSAL, esta beca es parte de una misión mayor:

“Este logro no es solo mío, es de todas las personas que creen que el cambio comienza cuando se educa con el corazón, se actúa con justicia y se lidera con propósito. Esta beca me permite seguir formándome para servir mejor.”

Por su parte, Jesús de Macedo continúa demostrando que el liderazgo voluntario también transforma vidas:

Today, we proudly celebrate that Damarys Rangel, President of DDHHUNIVERSAL, and Jesús de Macedo, Director of Volunteer Programs, have been selected and awarded full scholarships by the Center for Public and Nonprofit Management (CPNM) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Orange County to participate in one of the most prestigious nonprofit training programs in the U.S.: the Financial Management Course for Nonprofit Organizations.

Being chosen for such a scholarship in the United States is a deeply valued achievement — not only for its academic excellence but also for recognizing our community leadership, work ethic, and resilience in managing social causes.
